Ok, so it’s Friday…and most likely wherever you are it’s snowing. So, the fact is you deserve some free Internet time today. After viewing our site for a few hours, hop on over to my FAVORITE blog in the universe…ImprovEverywhere.com. I seriously have not posted about it yet because of how much dorky love I have for it. I didn’t think one little post would do it justice. But, here it goes anyway.
Improv Everywhere is based in NYC and basically has the goal of creating the most awkward situations EVER. I’m a fan of awkwardness. The video above is of one of their most recent event in which 200+ people froze in place for 5 minutes in a busy train station. From the site’s main page, go to the mission tab to see a full list of the missions they have accomplished. My personal favorites are: Rob! , Slo Mo Home Depot, Cell Phone Symphony, Look Up More, Anton Chekov, Even Better than the Real Thing, and The Moebius. Start there, and please, if you want to laugh, don’t skip to the video each time…read the whole thing. Look at all the pictures. And join my club of people who wish they could live in a fun city.
