Dame alerted me to this story earlier today and I wanted her to post it but she was basically struck speechless and writeless by it. It’s that disturbing. I too, am unsure how to adequately mock it, because there are so many unanswered questions. But here goes.
Apparently a woman in Kansas sat on her boyfriend’s toilet for TWO YEARS. The boyfriend called the police a month ago to say, “Hey - something’s up with my girlfriend.” And what was up with her was that her ass had GROWN INTO THE TOILET SEAT. Literally. Like the skin fused with and became one with the toilet.
And that’s not even the craziest part. The crazy part is that she really didn’t have much interest in becoming disengaged from said toilet. She was perfectly content to just stay, sitting on the toilet, for the rest of her days. And her boyfriend apparently didn’t begin to think this was at all unusual until about a month ago. I guess it was business as usual for him until she crossed that 2 year threshhold, and then he was like, “Wait a minute. This doesn’t seem right.”
At this point, I have no idea which of them to mock more. We can only hope that photos are eventually released of these two. For now though, they’re going to remain faceless - and we’ll have only our imaginations to help us fill in the blanks of this rich tapestry of a story.
