Check out how the top 6 fared after the jump!
First of all, I just have to say I totally love this music. LOVE IT. I’m a huge Phantom fan, and huge Cats fan, and just a total sap for all things broadway musical. So. Let’s begin.
Syesha - One Rock and Roll Too Many: I loved this. I think she started a little off of the band, but she was so super sassy in it. She was all sass. Like - totally sassed out. It was sassarific!
McDreads - Memory: “I didn’t know a cat was singing it.” Wow. ALW said it was a “brave” choice. Brave, in this case, loosely translates to STUPID. I hated this. It was really terrible. Really.
Brooke White - You Must Love Me: Ok. How do you even make up for totally screwing up the beginning like that? I’ll tell you how. You don’t. You can’t watermelon or meow your way out of that one. And everyone out there who just thinks Brooke is sweet and adorable and nice and real and all, you need to remember that she isn’t as good of a singer as anyone else she’s on stage with. Therefore, she should go home now.
David Archuleta - Think Of Me: I liked this. It was like a lazy-Sunday-in-a-hammock way of singing this song. I wasn’t totally blown away by it, but I liked it.
Carly McIrish - Jesus Christ Superstar: I loved most of this, until like the last eighth of it when it just got really yelly. I did like the paisley though.
David Cook - Music of the Night: That’s it. I think I might be a tiny bit in love with him. HE WAS PERFECT. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED it. I totally want to buy everything he ever does ever.
McDreads or Brooke out to be outa here this week.
