Um, yeah it is, Barack. Last time I checked, this was AMERICA, a land in which I am allowed to make choices about what car I drive and what I eat and what temperature to keep my home at.
You know what’s NOT leadership? Hanging out and trying to have tea and crumpets with Ahmejinedad.

Don’t misunderstand. I am not ENCOURAGING WASTEFULNESS. I’m simply saying it’s our right to BE wasteful.
Personally I care a lot more about energy independence which can protect us from having to rely on terrorist nations than I do about protecting caribou, or whatever other wildlife is out in ANWR that everyone is so worried about.
Wow. The idea that we have a right to be recklessly irresponsible is itself recklessly irresponsible. Robbing our future generations for our temporary kicks is indefensible. Get some perspective - freedom doesn’t mean “do whatever the hell you want.”

What people dont understand is that this world has been heating and cooling itself for billions of years without the help of humans. And if you study science at all the trend right now ( despite the global worming Al Gore tells us about of a few degrees) is actually one that history tells us will lead to an ice age. Of course not in my life but it will happen. Are we soo arrogant to believe that we control the fate of this planet that has been here for hundreds of billions of years and will be here and thrive long after we are gone. We are a blip. OMG politics is my fav LOL is there such thing as political orgasims LOL.

There is a problem with eating all we want??????? What- we are only supposed to eating till we are half full—eat every other day what? If I just eat vegatables can I eat all I want? Will other countries complain?

Freedom means that anyone in charge can tell me how to live my life and what to do with it. Yea, sure thing Obama.
