I think they called it "Oobleck." I make it for my daughter now, she loves it! Word of warning, though... don't try to put a lid on it to save it for later. It ferments or something, even in the fridge, I came home from work and thought a mouse died somewhere. Just leave it open to air to dry out and add water again the next day! It is the weirdest and ceoolest feeling all at the same time. I definitely recommend playing with it if you can. I wonder though how many starving people could be fed with corn used in this tub.... ...which makes me think of this story when my hubbie was a very small kid and his mom wanted to make him eat his veggies and he refused, she one day said "think of all the little hungry children in Africa!" and he told her to pack it and send it to them....
