In Tennessee there is a gas/convenience store chain called “Git & Go”…..It always gave me visions of a greasy guy wearing a wife beater yelling “Git” as he knocked a cat off the sofa (which is on the front porch, of course).

Yay, Kum & Go! I’m from the Midwest too, and outsiders never believe that we have those there. I went so far as to get matchbooks as proof. In high school, we called it “Jerk & Squirt” and “Ejaculate and Evacuate”. We were clever.

Down the street from Kum & Go in my hometown was Kumho Tires.
