I simply asked, "What do you think Dafoe thought about before he wrote 'Robinson Crusoe'?" (I tend to think in tangents...have even been dubbed "A Living Tangent") This is what we came up with. I apologize if my random thought process annoyed you. I will try to line up all of my thoughts better and be more of what you seek...all I ask is a chance to try to be less random...to try to find a social space in which to tarry. I truly am ruing my incapable brain. Please forgive me. That is the real answer. As Daniel Dafoe ruefully sailed by White Bay, gaining inspiration for the novel "Robinson Crusoe", what were the things that were in his mind, that were blotted out by the Caribbean sun and salt-sea air clearing his mind so the nuggets of his novel's historic plot could coalesce? And now you know...rest well...love much...walk aimlessly around your public library.
