Falls that last forever. And by “falls” I do not mean autumns. I mean the kind of falls that people experience when they misstep and trip, and try to save themselves, and then fall over anyway. I LOVE those. Dame and I are exceptionally good at them, and have both been known to take a good 5 minutes to fall flat on our faces. There’s a lot of running and leg twisting and contortions that take place before the actual fall - which, to an observer, has just got to be the best fun ever.
It’s the attempted saving part that’s so totally awesome. The things your body will do to try and compensate for a potential fall - it’s hilarious. An alert and astute mockdocker sent me the above clip of the model falling, and while I’d seen the fall before, I hadn’t seen it presented by the news team featured in this clip. The dude in this clip laughs so hard he sounds like he needs an oxygen mask of some sort.
LOVE.

I, too, love a good fall. I’ve accomplished many good falls, as well! I’m not the most graceful person. I think it’s OK to laugh at others falling down because I expect them to laugh at me when I fall (after finding out if I’m alright, of course).
That poor girl must have twisted her ankle at least 12 different times but it was still hilarious. I laughed almost as hard as the emphysema newscaster.
