I can’t stand when you are with someone and all they do is text instead of acknowledging your existence. It is so rude.

sbarros, chalk it up to watching too much Gordon Ramsay. My favorite Gordon-isms are “gobsmacked” (which I try to incorporated into my speech at least once a week), “In the s**t,” and “WHEN IT’S BROWN IT’S COOKING, WHEN IT’S BLACK IT’S F**KED!!!”

@wordwych…ha ha…gobsmacked…I only hear that word from English people, as in from England. Not a frequent American term. But one of my fave foreign words.

I am a person of average texting ability myself.

Unbelievable! In addition to being gobsmacked by that guy’s behavior, I’m now having flashbacks from traveling in Egypt, where drivers squeeze into any sorta-kinda available space just like they do in India. Nerve-wracking!
