Chill out on Bush, McCain and Cheney too - unless you’d like to back up the namecalling with any factual data that they “don’t give a crap about hospitals.” That sounds like something that a bleeding heart liberal would just throw out there without any basis.

@hatchetwoman, I am a bleeding heart liberal and I want the hospital to expand. And they could even build it in my backyard. Not all liberals are whackos. Just like not all conservatives are, but Bush, McCain, and Cheney are definitely whackos! And they don’t give a crap about the hospitals either!

Whew…end of rant, nothing personal. I just hate being called a whacko!

You know, I live in the L.A. area, and I absolutely detest the Westside, where many of the celebrity (and most of the liberals) live.

It’s not just the pretentiousness, and the shallowness … it’s the sense of entitlement that seems to be a hallmark of being liberal out there. They are the most self-centered, RUDEST people. They have to be first in line, they can’t wait even a few seconds for ANYTHING (because they’re so very very important).

Knowing this, I’m not surprised at all that these bleeding heart wackos don’t want the hospital to expand. It’s COMPLETELY in keeping with the pattern of the Westside.

Still, Tim Robbins was great in *High Fidelity* and *Bull Durham*, and Sarandon has nice cans for an old broad.

I, myself, am a bleeding heart liberal. But mostly for animals causes. But Susan Sarandon, in particular, makes me ill. I never could really explain it, but now you have for me. She is one of those NIMBY people. (Not In My Back Yard). Around here there is for some reason a big call for meth clinics. But no one is willing to have them in their neighborhood or their town. Just like prisons and animal sanctuaries…They have to be somewhere people. And if a hospital needs to expand to save lives, damnit, that is what being a true democrat is all about, Susan. So Shut the F*** Up!
