Do you know who I love?

Do you know who I love?

Seth Rogan. First off, I loooooved the show “Freaks and Geeks.” I am begging you all to rent the DVD of the series. I think it only lasted for a season. It is so awkward and perfect.

I also know that I would love to have Seth Rogen as a friend. Doesn’t he seem like just the BEST?!?

Here is the point of this love-fest of a post: LOOK at how annoyed he looks here with Katherine “Knocked Up was Sexist” Heigl. I think he hates her as much as me!

Anywhoo…he is on a press tour right now for Pineapple Express (which looks SO good). Jump the link to see what he said about Ms. SmokeyPants and how he can’t understand her “sexist” quote.

From the Herald Sun:

“In July last year Seth Rogen co-starred with Katherine Heigl in one of the most profitable comedy hits of the year, Knocked Up.

The film cost $35 million but made $234 million around the world in yet another success story for writing/directing comedy superstar Judd Apatow.

But five months later Heigl told Vanity Fair she found the movie ‘‘a little sexist”.

Today Rogen is in Melbourne with his co-star Danny McBride to promote the next flick from the Apatow comedy assembly line, Pineapple Express.

But he’s equally prepared to defend Knocked Up between the spruiking.

‘‘Thought it would have been nice if she’d said something while we were making the movie,” he says.

‘‘In one of the hundreds of conversations we all had about our thoughts and feelings about the material and one of the many conversations where Judd was asking us for our input.”

An Apatow movie is all about collaboration, Rogen says.

‘‘We don’t hire actors as purely actors,” he says. ‘‘We make them creative consultants basically and really get their opinions on every aspect. There’s an extremely long rehearsal process solely dedicated to having those conversations so, yeah, I thought it was weird.

‘‘I mean, it won a Women’s Image Network Award. Take that! She can take it up with them.””

LOVE.

I’m not a big fan of this guy, but I think he is dead on with what he says. I had never heard of Katherine Heiwhatever until Grey’s Anatomy, and I thought she did a good job in the first season. Not outstanding (Sandra Oh was outstanding) but good. I saw Knocked Up and hated it. Then I heard that KH ragged on the film, which made her a boatload of money, no doubt, and I thought, “Um yyyyyyeah, ever heard the saying “Don’t s**t where you eat,” sunshine?” Then came the arrogant ridiculousness where she withdrew her name from the award list and ragged on the Grey’s Anatomy writers. Again, I wondered if this woman has EVER heard the old DSWYE saying. Seems that she is quite happy to take boatloads of money for participating in ’substandard’ or ’sexist’ projects, but they’re never deemed to be ’substandard’ or ’sexist’ until AFTER she’s been paid. I will readily admit that I have not seen her entire body of work, and have no intention of doing so, but based on what I have seen, she doesn’t strike me as being extraordinarily talented or attractive, so she really needs to just be grateful that she’s got steady work and just keep her complaints confined to her private journal or something.

OMG FREAKS & GEEKS WAS THE BEST!!! my teen has the series on dvd (we used to watch it together when it was on the tube). it lasted a couple of seasons…i think 2 or 3, but then it died w/o warning & with no real ending, so that kinda sucked. HOWEVER, i TOTALLY agree with you…if y’all haven’t seen it, GET IT. it’s way worth it.

and i cannot wait for pineapple express! james franco (also from freaks & geeks) is a rockin’ actor. hey, did you know the chic that starred in freaks & geeks was on ER together with the blonde chic from freaks & geeks?

ok, i just know waaaay too much about nothing.
