Huh… I love my PedEgg. It does a great job on dry callouses - much better than pumice stone. The shavings look a bit like fine parmesan cheese, though, which is quite sick.

Having freakishly soft feet, I don’t have much use for the PedEgg but I looooved reading about all your experiences with the, tee hee, foot zester. Mockarena, glad you didn’t hack off a digit prying open the packaging. I’d love it if you tested one (or some) of those plastic package openers. Been dying to get one, but have no idea if they work.

And, judging by all the comments, I’m going to have to run right out and buy one, now! I have about 5 different foot files and they only work for about 2 weeks. I, too, love Burt’s Bees products, so I must buy that also!

You must have gotten a defective PedEgg — I absolutely love mine. In fact, it is the only cheezy “As Sold on TV!” item I’ve ever tried that actually WORKS!

And yes, if the thing heated up you were definitely a little on the aggressive side…

I have to agree with the love for the pedegg, I LOVE it! And my mom has terrible foot biscuits and loves it too. And I LOVE the burts bees coconut foot cream. It is super expensive, but a little goes a LONG way and if you do it before bed and then put socks on, in the morning your feet are SO soft. I also do it after using the pedegg.

Ouch! The raspberry green tea that I snorted when reading the phrase “foot zester” really hurt!

Seriously, though, this product has been magic for my feet. My heels are chronically cracked and dry from wearing sandals every single day of the year (it’s hell living in the tropics), and the Ped Egg keeps them smooth and soft.

I love this product.

But now I am afraid that I am torn even more than yesterday as to whether or not to get it, but I guess $10 isn’t too much to shell out at the risk of getting a faulty product… I am really surprised with how many people have already bought one, apparently it’s allure is more than most girls with less than pristine feet can take…

I had the exact same experience, despite the fact that all of my girlfriends were telling me how awesome the PedEgg was. It turns out I had faulty blades. I think you do too.

Please go to your nearest CVS type of store and purchase a 3 pack of replacement blades ASAP. I did, and my PedEgg is now shredding my feet like nobody’s business. Plus, you really have to see the disgusting grey foot dust that comes off your tootsies. It’s worth the extra 10 bucks for the new blades.

Mocking aside, it’s a good product if you can get one that’s actually made properly.

I have a device that accomplishes the same basic thing as the PedEgg, and I do have to be careful with it or I will end up with cracks like ER is describing. I slather them with Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme, which is stupid expensive and really greasy, but it helps a lot.

Mockarena, since the PedEgg heated up for you, I think maybe you were shaving just a leeeetle too fast! Slow down or you’ll set all the icky shavings ablaze!

Sbarros - “foot zester” LOL! No kidding, I shot soda right through my nose when I read that!! :-)
