People magazine is reporting that David Duchovny has checked himself into rehab to get treated for sex addiction. I’m going to assume that either this addiction extended beyond the confines of his marriage to Tea Leoni, or that she is utterly EXHAUSTED.
Anyone know exactly how someone gets treated for such a thing? Do they point them to the Mock Dock for landbeast photos? Do they show them pictures of their parents having relations of a sexual nature? I would be very interested in knowing more about the therapy methodologies employed.
What I want to know is how one can be ADDICTED to sex in the first place. I get the appeal, but drugs are the big thing that mess with your head and body. How is it that sex can f*** you up that bad, so to speak?
I think some of the pics on this sight would be enough to cure anyone of this “disease”.

Well, from this point forward I will always picture him as one of those pathetic guys who spend thousands of dollars a month on internet porn.
Remember the old Schick program that helped people stop smoking in the 80s? It was essentially a rubber band worn around the wrist, which the wearer pulled back and snapped against the sensitive underside of their wrist every time they had a craving. So I wonder about the treatment for this addction, if it’s possible that Duchovny might be employing this method to a rather more sensitive portion of his anatomy. And if Tea has control of the snaps, he may never have to worry about that addiction again.
I’m addicted to sex also. It’s not just mental but there are physical changes in the body. I seems whenever I think about sex I have attacks of RPS. I also wake up in the morning with this condition. The RPS last untill I either have sex, a cold shower or I pee. I’ve been dealing with this it seems forever but never knew I could go to rehab for it.
It is a compulsion, an OCD. I can’t imagine someone flicking a light switch on and off and counting how many times I do it all day long, but there are people who do this.
There is a difference between being horny and wanting sex a lot and being obsessed with sex. We don’t know what his obsession entails. It could be he is faithful to his wife and can’t keep his hands off himself. It could be that he can’t stop thinking about sex and it is interfeering with his normal life and work. He doesn’t have to be acting on his obsession to go into rehab.
Repeat after me boys and girls, “PR STUNT!”
