I’m About To Be Comatose

You know what I love?  The kind of sleep that you get when you feel like crap and put yourself into a nyquil-induced coma.  These are my favorite kinds of sleeps.

I have managed to pick up a wicked cold in the last 24 hours, and barely have the energy to move, let alone type.  I’m telling you that so that you don’t get your hopes up that you’ll find lots of new stuff on here tonight.

Bonne nuit, people.  Bonne nuit.

Feel better soon, Mock! The Nyquil-induced coma is best followed by a cup of hot tea with lots of lemon and honey.

    Hope you feel better soon!!

Hope you got some sleep. Since the Nyquil folks changed the formula it’s just not the same. Damn meth labs, ruining things for everyone!

If the new NyQuil doesn’t work, there’s always Robitussin. Good stuff. Sleep well Mockarea and feel better soon. It won’t be the same around here without all your intriguing articles!

I highly recommend Robitussin, it still has the alcohol content and a high drug content.

After enough pissed off Nyquil lovers were heard, the company started making Nyquil D which is the original Nyquil formula. It is sometimes kept behind the pharmacy counter but isn’t prescription. Ridiculous really because it is my understanding that they can’t make meth with liquid pseudoephedrine. Anyway, the “good stuff” is still available.

um, how do you know that you can’t make meth out of liquid pseudoephedrine, anon69? Just curious…It wasn’t until the law was passed that I even knew it was used to make meth. I guess I am too naive.

sbarros, No, I’m not a meth cook :) My friend is an attorney who has dealings with law enforcement and is involved with the criminal justice system. He deals with this kind of junk all the time. Anyway he was on a rant one day about all the hoops one has to jump through when trying to purchase allergy meds. He said something to the effect that the manufacturers should just go to something like a liquicap form, as it is almost impossible to extract the pseudoephedrine from it. So I guess I misspoke-not impossible but probably beyond what the average jughead meth cooker is capable of.

Also, they have stopped making a lot of the good decongestants and it pisses me off! First, it was Actifed, then Drixoral. For an allergy sufferer, I might as well go to a doctor and get a prescription, because the money I’ve wasted on gas driving around searching for relief would just about make up for the cost!
