Alert and astute mockdocker mikey reminded me of Coach Landbeast the other day in an email, and in a total “you know what I hate?” moment, shared with me one of his pet peeves, which is when female sideline reporters chase down coaches and players on the field IN HEELS, often at completely inopportune times, to get the perfect soundbyte. I think that’s hysterical. I mean, why DO they have to wear heels? It’s SPORTS, for god’s sake. There’s no heels in sports.
Speaking of female sideline reporters, how hilarious is this clip of a barely coherent Joe Namath telling this one he wants to kiss her? LOVE!!
I’ve never seen that Namath interview before, that’s hilarious! Interviewing people who just finished their 9th beer is never a good idea for live TV……and if he wanted so badly to kiss Suzy Kolber, one wonders what would have happened had a really hot sideline reporter interviewed him.
