Sandra Bernhard. Aside from being one of the most physically repulsive women on the planet, she’s just a hideous beast of a person. I’m a relatively mild-tempered, even-keeled person, but she is one of those women about whom I would use the c-word. And you know what word I’m talking about. The cutest thing happened this evening, which is that my dad, who is like the cutest pocket-dad ever, and he weighs like 78 pounds and is as mild-mannered as you could ever imagine, called Sarah Barnhard the c-word. It was ADORABLE.
Anyway, you may have heard the most recent news about her viciousness towards Sarah Palin in a recent “comedy” routine. In it, she said, if Palin were to visit New York, that Sara would be “gang-raped by my big black brothers.” I’m not making this up.
Sarah Palin won’t bother being offended by that, because it’s just stupid and Sarah has already dealt with far more vicious attacks than that. But you know who SHOULD be offended? BLACK MEN. This is the image Sandra Bernhard apparently has of black men – that they’re gang rapists.
HATE HATE HATE.

I can’t stand her either. I saw something on a news site where she was claiming she never made the statement, and was trying to blame it on a columnist. I don’t know whether she said it or not, but I think Hatchetwoman’s totally right about her has-been status and her two-minutes in the spotlight.
First of all, I’ve browsed through your website a few times here and there, and one thing I’ve noticed about your site-besides the fact that usually you guys have nothing really too funny or original to say- is the apparent politics of this site, which, unsurprisingly, also stinks. First of all, Sandra Bernhard wasn’t saying all black men are rapists- she is obviously alluding to the fact that Sarah Palin, while Governor of Alaska, charged rape victims for their rape kits(which is a fact) and that she doesn’t support abortion, even in the case of rape or incest. She threw in the black part, because, let’s face it, Sarah Palin, like almost all republicans, is a racist. She’s stating that perhaps it would be a nice come-uppance for Palin to experience what being a victim of such a crime is, then maybe she’d grow a heart and have some compassion for these victims! While I don’t agree with Bernhard’s comments, I can understand what she’s trying to say, without putting my own little racist twist on it( a la this mockarena idiot)- and don’t pretend you care about black people, bitch- if you did, you wouldn’t be a republican! End of rant!

Wait a minute thar, Hoss. Original ideas and things to say are difficult to come by, especially when mocking someone else. And in politics. You think that Obama or McCain came up with half of the things he promises in his campaign speeches on his own?
Everything we do and say is influenced by things that we have heard and experienced in our lives. That’s the way humans are wired – to constantly learn from our environment. But we’re also our own gatekeepers, choosing which messages we’re going to accept and which to reject.

Given our history of race and sex in this country, this is an outrages and horribly offensive statement, and while Palin is a little goofy, there is no evidence that she is a racist. Even if she was, its not against the law, gang raping anyone should be punishable by death.

Tell that to my boss, who is a Republican, black, female powerhouse. Tell that to my ex-boss, who, while white, was one of those people that everyone knew to be honest, forthright, and who stood up, over and over again, against injustice, no matter what the race of the victim, or the perpetrator.

Obama 08 saying that Sandra “is obviously alluding to” anything is giving her too much credit. Do you really think that comment had so much meaning behind it or could she possibly just be spewing things out of her mouth with no actual thought.
