See this happy couple? LISTEN to what happened to them. They were sitting in the back of a plane ready to go on a trip, when the flight attendant approached them and told them that, basically, they were too heavy for the plane to take off, and they’d need one of them to move to the front to even the weight distribution out.
CAN YOU IMAGINE the embarrassment? O.M.G. I don’t even know if I could SURVIVE that kind of public humiliation. I would probably just cease to live, right there, in that moment, if that happened to me.
But the great news is that this ordeal inspired them to lose a crapload of weight. 175 pounds between the two of them, to be exact. How great is that?

thats awesome. totally horrible about the plane…but completely wonderful about deciding to make a change for the better. they both look amazing. kudos!
Seconding the awesomeness. Some people would have thrown fits and filed lawsuits, but these folks took charge of their lives and responsibility for their situation. Congrats to them!!
wordwych, I was bracing myself for the words “The couple have now filed suit against the airline, alleging public humiliation and mental trauma.” These people are to be congratulated, not only about their weight loss but about the fact that they were actually grown-ups! There’s hope for the U.S. after all!
