People magazine is reporting that Tea Leoni and David Duchovny have been separated for several months, even before he entered rehab for his addiction to sex. The actors released a statement today indicating as much. The statement read as follows:
“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.” Their kids are 9 and 6.
So, I get the point that they’re trying to make. They are trying not to draw a lot of attention to this so as to keep people from harassing the kiddos with questions. But when you FIRST read that, it totally sounds like the kids JUST FOUND OUT that their parents are separated, doesn’t it? Like they just got home from school today, and said to Tea, “Hey -I’ve been meaning to ask you, when’s dad getting home from work? Because 9 months seems like a really long shift, ” and Tea finally decided she couldn’t keep up the charade anymore.
That made me giggle.

I can’t believe she let a little thing like continuous infidelity come between them.

What guy ISN’T addicted to sex? Seriously? Just have more with your spouse! I’m friggin addicted, for crying out loud, but i dont feel the need to run all over town and bang everything that moves! i just inconvienience my man, like any normal person would.
