An alert and astute mockdocker sent me this clip of some Korean kid singing Pariah Carey’s song “Touch My Body.” And even though for all intents and purposes, this is a huge massacre of an already annoying song, I would choose listening to this kid over listening to Pariah any day of the week.
You know what struck me as the oddest thing about this? This kid is in what appears to be a recording studio. Who would allow this and why?
He is so weird! But I too would take him over Pariah ANYTIME.
Considering he is Korean dealing with a Korean accent, he isn’t doing so bad. He isn’t much worse than the Chinese version of 80′s pop songs they play at my local Chinese buffet.
I’m pretty sure the ‘recording studio’ thing is a gimmick that’s all over Asia. Like those booths at amusement parks – they take your picture and put it on TIME magazine or something. Only this is Karaoke with a recording of it.
Love the accent though.
I agree with WildThang, this probably cost him $19.95, and the video is sure to come…
Ummm…okay, then. At least he’s doing his part on making the world a better place. yep
Christine-my chinese buffet place has 80′s asian pop music too, but we get to see these three girls sing (in their way cool outfits) on the tv’s they have hanging on the walls. This buffet is way better than the land beast buffet next to Walmart.
I have only two words for you. William Hung. ’nuff said.
he is so funny.. i like him, even he doesn’t sing well.
