I caught a few minutes of his whining – er, I mean, his plea for mercy to the judge. It was ridiculous. Then his attorneys whined about how “inappropriate” it was for Ron Goldman’s family to be in the courtroom. I got so disgusted that I turned the TV off. I’m just glad he finally got busted. ER, my reaction to the sentence was very much like yours, only mine had a word that starts with F in between “about” and “time.”
As the mythbusters would say…BUSTED! Except this isn’t a myth, it is finally for real! Somewhere in heaven Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson are finally getting wings.
I read that his attorneys will be appealing, arguing among other things that their client can’t get a fair hearing because of his previous acquittal.
I suppose the logical conclusion is that OJ should never be tried, for anything. After all, if he can’t get a fair hearing, then it would be a complete violation of the justice system.
In fact, OJ has been tried at least three times for completely unrelated crimes since his acquittal. I would present that to rebut the appeal claim — clearly, if he was tried two other times since the murders but acquitted both times, then he CAN get a fair trial.
That man is such a narcissistic creep — I hope he stays in solitary, so he has no one to impress in jail. That would be his worst punishment — no fan club.
i hope he meets up with a large man named ‘jim’ in the shower.
he’s got bad knees, arthritic hands, (so he claims) so he
won’t be able to run away.
i know that the authorities will put him in solitary for his
own safety, but i really, REALLY hope he goes into the general
population. he needs to be humbled.
BADLY!!
It’s about time.
CNN is reporting that he got at least 15 years guaranteed.

Solitary? Nah. I wouldn’t want to deny the other nice men the pleasure of his company.
