For those of you watching American Idol right now, what is the vote on Kara DioGuardi – the new judge?
I think I like her. Mr. Mock and I haven’t yet decided if we think she’s attractive. At some angles she is very pretty, and at others she’s kind of like Katharine McPhee’s not-as-attractive sister. Mr. Mock is going to cringe when he reads this, because he wouldn’t necessarily appreciate anyone knowing that he’s paying any attention to this show. In his defense, it’s kind of against his will. He’s in our favorite room of the house, trying to concentrate on a book, and yet Simon will throw out some of his famous insults and it’s impossible to ignore. You can’t really blame him for being distracted.
Anyway, I thought I’d gotten over my obsession with this show. In fact, I haven’t even really been looking forward to it all that much. I even thought, “I’ll just play some Wii tennis and then if I feel like tuning in, I will.” So I wii’d, and then tuned in, and you guys, I am officially once again OBSESSED with this show. I love it so much.
Let’s watch it together this season, mockers. Join me, won’t you?
UPDATE: I am not ashamed to admit I got a little weepy at the blind dude. He was SO PRECIOUS and so good. I hope he does well.
LOVED the fact that Kara tried to upstage the bimbo in the bikini! She did so much better than that stupid girl. You know she only got passed through because of her bikini…
Did you see when Ryan Seacrest was talking to the blind guy after his audition and then Ryan HELD UP HIS HAND for a high five? I was thinking to myself, “Ummm, he can’t see your hand up in the air, stupid. He’s blind!” Then, he sort of redeemed himself by grabbing the blind guy’s hand and said, “I’m giving you high-five right now!” He didn’t do it quickly enough, in my opinion.
I couldn’t STAND the new judge – she’s so arrogant and snarky! I just kept thinking, Wow she clearly thinks quite highly of herself.
oh I like her!!! she seems like she has some legitimate critism and she knows what shes talking about. also i think shes very pretty. like a REAL GIRL kind of pretty… i like it.
