I Knew There Was A Reason I Didn’t Like Terence Howard

And this pretty much sums it up.

Chris Brown beating on Rihanna? “It’s just life, man. She knows he loves her.”

Gawd.

Considering all women are bitches and hos, I’m not surprised.

Hey Terrence – Ike Turner called, and he wants his reasoning back.

    Prick.

Just five minutes ago I would have said I could look at that man all day and not grow tired of his face. But then he opened his mouth and spewed that crap. Heavy, heavy sigh.

With that statement, he victimized Rhianna all over again. “She knows he loves her,” is really quite threatening emotionally. It says it’s okay for Chris to beat her because he loves her. It also implies that Chris has done it before and she forgave him then, so it’ll work out this time as well. Terence is playing his supporting role as the woman-beater’s sidekick in the cycle of their abusive relationship.

Yes, because restraining orders are just another way of saying I love you. *Sigh* It is incredibly depressing to know that in this day and age, attitudes like that still persist.

You know, there is someone in Washington, D.C. right now who is still on a bit of a honeymoon, and is a deity in the black community. President Obama could, and should, use his pulpit to address the issue of violence against women.

I hope that Obama does address the issue, but he may need to wait until all details are collected and all formal charges are filed, otherwise it may look as though he’s putting blame before the chance to prove innocence, so to speak. And as for Terrence Howard, he’s just given wife-beaters everywhere another excuse to go home and beat the crap out of their wives…you know – because they KNOW their husbands love them. Ugh. He later retracted his comments, probably when some PR person had a heart attack over what he said and forced him to apologize. Doesn’t help one iota.

I’m glad to know that “love” comes with a heavy hand, turns out this whole caring acceptance thing I’ve got going for me is all wrong. I guess I’d better be late for dinner so I can receive all this “love” that the ever eloquent Terrence speaks about!

I was just listening to the radio and apparently he has retracted his statement. He was unaware of the situation when the paparazzi approached him. I didn’t watch the video because I think he has creep eyes. So I don’t know how believable his retraction defense is.

I think it’s a bunch of BS. What he said had nothing to do with Rihanna and Chris as a couple in general, and everything to do with the incident. Him saying he was unaware of the situation is totally ridiculous when you listen to the video – it doesn’t make any sense UNLESS he was aware of the situation.

This is all about Terence’s PR person being like, “HOLY CRAP WHAT DID YOU DO? You have to retract that immediately.” Nothing more.
