I happen to think this is awesome…i have plugs, studs, claws and spikes in my ears, and want an industrial. I’m also interested in microdermal implants as well…so yeah. i love the eye tatt!

Now Bob, I told you they weren’t on my assular or crotchular areas! I have one on my left shoulder, one on my right hip, 2 on my left ankle, and one on my right leg that goes from my calf down to my foot. I work in health care, and I wanted to be sure I could cover them with clothes, or show them off if I wanted to. I also wanted to be sure that if I went on a job interview I could cover them up. Some places don’t appreciate that sort of thing.

The teeth tatoos were actually pretty advanced by the time they faded out of popularity. I saw one that was a daisy, and one that was a smiley face. I just couldn’t get that done, being as I have a tooth/smile thang.

The guy on National Geographic Channel got his eye done in black ink, and I just weirded out over the whole thing. I literally jumped up and down doing the “weirdo” dance in the middle of my living room. *shiver*

I also read that the ink involved isn’t even approved by the FDA, so this is just brilliant. Being an optometrist I approve this procedure…. not.

I too have tattoos that are easily coverable (feet, ankles, back, wrist) and quite dig tattoos but this is just stupid.

The saddest thing about this tattoo is that it isn’t universally accepted–as in there’s a high rejection rate. It won’t even last that long! The infections and the allergic reactions that could possibly happen to your EYE isn’t even worth it. I mean you could go blind if there was a freak accident.

Honestly, what will they do next? Tattoo their teeth? Oh wait…never mind…I think the Japanese used to do that long, long time ago and that was to blacken them. Heh, we’ve gone to one extreme to the next.

I think the big question is: Is your personality so bland that you have resorted to tattooing your eyeball to get people to talk to you? Maybe you should just learn some jokes to break the ice with people instead of freaking them out with creepy eye tattoos.
