I still love him (obviously) but it turns out he’s a huge Adam Lambert fan. This is very very disappointing indeed. In a recent blog entry, he said, “Adam Lambert is my personal bestest Pop star right now…..If you haven’t been watching American Idol check him out… he’s the real deal in fact if there was a Singing Olympics and the US were sending Michael Buble and Adam Lambert i wouldn’t even try out for the UK team.”
I get Michael Buble, because Michael Buble is fantastic, but if you’ve ever heard Robbie’s Swing Like You’re Winning CD, you know he’s every bit as good if not better than Buble at the classics. But screechy Adam Lambert? Gawd. That’s just embarassing.
Clearly, Robbie’s been negatively affected by all of his alien-watching.
But he’s hot.
And forgiven.
Hot perhaps, however unfortunately for you, he is in all liklihood a poofter.

My mother-in-law insisted that I watch him, and I think if I closed my eyes, he sounds like a drag queen (no offense to you drag queens! Bob) I thought Danny Gokey was better. And before anyone starts whining – I could care less if he’s gay!

Dear, I know you find this hard to believe but a LOT of singers/musicians really love Adam Lambert and really think he’s super talented. Even Billie Joe Armstrong said “That kid that’s on there — Adam — hitting those high notes? Pretty badass, man.”. I’m glad Robbie likes Adam because that proves that he has an ability to spot talent.

EVERYONE loves this guy. but WHYYYYYYYY. i am shocked. seriously. like how could anyone listen to his rendition of U2s ONE and not CRINNGE when you watched it!? i literally had goosebumps from shuddering. THATS how bad it was. i cant imagine why anyone likes the sounds coming from his face. awful.
every week i really try. i really try to like him or to see what it is that everyone thinks is so great. but i just CANT. look, I can hit those notes if i try to, but just beacuse you can doesnt mean you SHOULD. it still is not a pleasant sound.
im serioulsy not watching tonight. im not. i cant stand his face.
