An alert and astute mockdocker sent me a few youtube clips of some hilarious 911 calls, but this one to Burger King was my absolute favorite. I love the 911 operator SO MUCH, especially when she’s like, “Umm..ma’am? What are we protecting you from? Is this a dangerous cheeseburger?”
LOVE.
It’s unbelievable to me how SINCERE this caller is, though. She genuinely believes that the police should help her get a Western Burger.
These are people who are allowed to vote, you guys.
I’m just saying.
Oh my gooooooooooooooood are you kidding me?! No, she’s not kidding. I’ve met this mother before during parent conferences. Botoxed, fake tanned, fake nails, fake boobies, ballooned up lips, brat kids, bitch attitude who thinks the world revolves around her.

The cops should have gone down there…and arrested her for a false 911 call. Then her kids would have to wait even longer for a freaking western burger.
That 911 operator rocks. She should get a medal for dealing with the lady I imagined just as Hurley described and not jumping through the phone and choking her.

Another case: a dispatcher in St Louis got a 9-1-1 call from a “lady” in a McD’s who couldn’t get the chicken mcnuggets she wanted because the place was out of them! Naturally, she called for emergency assistance.
What is with these people??? Can’t they deal with a Major Frustration like that?????
That totally cracked me up! I am a 911 operator and I love the silence from the operator at the beginning of the recording, how she let the lady ramble on and on about the problem. That is totally what we do when we are forced to listen to people’s stupidity-then we usually play the call back for everyone in the department to hear lol! And then when she said “What is it you want us to do for you?” That translates to: “Do you really think we are going to bother with your petty dispute? Because we aren’t. However, we are willing to hear what stupid ideas you can come up with. Humor us, please.”
I wonder why she wasn’t arrested for abusing the 911 system. I thought that was a crime. She is setting a terrible example for her kids. Good Lord!

i have to imagine there are SO many stupid people out there that call 9-1-1 for things like this and jam up the line for people with ACTUAL criminal issues. uggh.
i do believe public places like this retain the right to refuse service to anyone they please. ? no?
“We’re not going to go down there and enforce your western bacon cheeseburger.” We need bumper stickers that say, “You need to act like an adult.”
