Here are four friends reacting to the news of Michael Jackson’s death.
Priceless.
By the way, you guys, I’m not sure if you’ve heard this since media reports about it have been few and far between, but Michael Jackson is dead. I’m sorry if you’re hearing that for the first time from me.
not to sound mean, but i sure wish they’d bury him and get this over with. even a president doesn’t get this much coverage.
seriously, how much of michael’s life story can i be shown over and over again?? ok…i get it: he was a great singer and entertainer. got it. i also liked much of his music too, but i didn’t shed any tears.
can we please move on?? i’d like to know what else is going on in the world.
Hilarious.
Hilarious.
You know what I should do? Respond one more time by accident. Yeah.
There was a lot of coverage when James Brown died too. But not this much. I only knew one James Brown song. It’s time to let Michael Jackson go.
Is this a joke or did Michael Jackson really die? I didn’t see anything on the news.
lol bob. im with mga- lets move on people! like was he a president or something? no…he was a pop star accused of molesting children. yea yea he was the king of pop and an icon. that warrents a tribute on E! news or something. but u cant turn on the news without seeing MJ this MJ that. its getting to be TOO much! there are SO many other things going on in the world right now more news-worthy than mj (who was a total freak of nature…genius..maybe, freak, definitely)
um the reason james brown didnt get a lot of coverage was because reagan died pretty close to him and they talked about reagan endlessly for a while. this too shall pass
I don’t get the sorrow over losing a pedophile. In fact, the Farrah/Michael joke sums it up perfectly for me.
Oh I love that joke – we got that texted to us on the road and nearly crashed reading it. Poor Farrah – just in case you didnt know it – she died too. The Same Day. sigh. Wonder if there is a cat fight going on somewhere about who upstaged who
Oh man, I’m so sick of this. A solid week of this, and more to come. I live in the Los Angeles area, and I work downtown. I’m dreading Tuesday – what an absolute zoo it will be. The trains will be full, the buses will be full, the subways … it was bad enough a few weeks ago with all the Laker fans, but now … the creeps will be coming out of the woodwork!
Since when did singing in a falsetto voice with hiccuping sounds, and imitating James Brown’s dance moves make someone a god? What the hell is wrong with people? Who wants to see a plasticized dead body? How small are the lives of these people?
I should feel better after that rant, but I don’t. I need to go work off some energy … I’ll probably go mop my kitchen floor.
My mom called me last Saturday and said and asked if I knew that Michael Jackson died? He died Tuesday? I guess she thinks I live in a hole….I don’t know if she was serious or not!
I’m glad I don’t have cable, so I don’t have to watch the endless news about anything. If it wasn’t for msn.com homepage I wouldn’t know these celebs are dying.
Not having a tv at all hasn’t saved me … it’s everywhere, I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone. I went to lunch with my brother and sis-in-law, and they had a television up in the restaurant. It was tuned to the news, but before every commercial break, there was his picture with the years of his birth and death. Enough already!
