An alert and astute mockdocker sent me some photos of a restaurant, I believe in Japan, which is toilet themed. Because of COURSE someone would think to have a toilet-themed restaurant. I mean, it totally eliminates the need to ask, “Where’s the restroom?” seeing as how you’re EATING ON IT.
I’m not really surprised at the existence of such a place. But I AM surprised that there appears to be a steady stream of customers. No pun intended.

I can’t help but think how uncomfortable it would be to sit on something while I ate that had no back.
I think it’s in China. I don’t recognize any of the characters (I’m half Japanese) so my guess it is either China or another Asian country.
