I showed this preview to Mr. Mock, and his reaction was as follows:

Which totally won’t stop me from forcing him to see it with me, because I am SUCH A SUCKER for impossible love stories like this. That movie The Lakehouse? LOVED IT. I love love love impossible love stories. And Eric Bana is completely dreamy. And I feel a kinship with Rachel McAdams because she has a huge forehead, as do I. So impossible love story + dreamy dude + huge forehead kinship = MUST SEE.

It does look awful. I read the book and it was an interesting gimmick but not worth a movie. Another sappy love story. blech.
A time traveling romance…..gee, that’s an original concept. This movie looks about as interesting as the temple ready woman with the jeep
I read the book too, but I can’t wait to see the movie. Love Eric Bana since he was Henry the 8th.
I used to have such a crush on Rachel McAdams, but I won’t be going to see this just for her. I’m not entirely sure if this is must see worthy, but the wife and I might end up seeing it.

The book is incredible- if the trailer looks awful, read the book instead.
I just cant get past the fact that Eric Bana looks EXACTLY like Cory Feldman. Its creepy.
I kind of like the premise of this movie and may actually see it when it is free for me (I work at the movies on the weekends–bonus is free movies!) So that will definitely not be worth my money but at least I’ll waste some time in it. Rachel Adams will be the only person to really express any emotions though as Eric Bana kinds of issues on that front for whatever reason (see: The Incredible Hulk John Woo edition–more feelings for the Hulk and that could be due Jennifer’s emotions being used for the beast.)

Mock, knowing you, you’ve already seen this, but you should check out “Somewhere in Time.” I’m so not a chick-flick person, but my ex-fiance made me watch it once. I love this movie, and I absolutely adore the music in it! Christopher Reeve is just adorable in it! Another movie you should see is “Memoirs of a Geisha.” It’s phenomenal, and I promise you’ll love it! The music in that movie is also beautiful.
