This is an Actual Regular Bear. According to this, all the female bears in a German zoo are suffering from some funky skin funk recently, which has caused them to lose most of their fur. The professionals are clueless, and are thinking it’s a genetic thing, but don’t really know for sure.
Meantime, the bald bears are drawing record crowds, because crowds like freaky things like bald bears.
I am a fan of regular bears, even though they’re dangerous and would be happy to kill and devour me. I like them because they’re cute and furry. These bears look like baby elephants with bear-heads, and frankly, not at all cute.
Discuss.

that’s so sad. Winter is coming- won’t they get cold? Seriously. I hope this doesn’t put their lives in danger. (I’m ignorant and don’t know how cold it gets in Germany…)

I think it must be some kind of a food allergy or mites. Mites can do this too..or is it mange? I know dogs have this problem…
