And you know what else? I only watched the AMA’s for a few minutes, but happened to catch Kelly’s live performance of Already Gone. It was HORRIBLE. Mini-Mock sings it better live.
She should take some cues from Kate Winslet. She’s a fuller figure gal that always looks stunning.
Are you kidding? Kelly was one of the few who actually sang and could do it without massive crowds of dancers and explosions around her to drown out the off-key screeching (Lambert) or tuneless whispering (Janet Jackson, among others). It was great that a music awards show included at least one person who could actually, you know, sing.
She can absolutely sing, CAG. I actually totally love her, and I love this song in particular. But if you compare it to the album version, it sucked. It doesn’t mean she sucks in general – in fact far from it. But it sucked compared to how it normally sounds. I’m sure it was WORLDS better than any of the other crap they showed last night.
This looks better than most of the crap I have seen her wear. But this looks like crap too. Just a little less crappy. If there is such a thing as a crap scale.
