You guys, according to this, my beloved Victoria has bunions.
I’ll wait a moment while you reassess your entire life.
So, an alert and astute mockdocker linked me to the article, which highlights some of Vicky B’s best shoes, and also shows a picture of her bunions. What are we, as a society, supposed to DO with ourselves if Victoria Beckham has to take a break from high heels? How are we to go on?
I decided to do a youtube search on Victoria Beckham shoes, and I don’t know why I’m surprised at ALL by this, but there are a crapload of videos featuring her feet. Above is just ONE.
If you could go ahead and just add her bunioned feet to your prayer list tonight, that’d be great. Meantime, let’s just all try to move on with our lives as best we can.
(sniff)
I took a peek at the article. Oh, the poor woman! Those look painful, and years of wearing such damaging (although sometimes pretty) shoes have caused her some obvious problems, not just the bunions. Did anyone but me notice that the toes on her left foot are overlapping each other a bit? High heels are great for an evening out on the town or a gala event, but for everyday life? Not a good idea, IMO.
Sorry, Mock…I have bunions myself and hate to wear high heels, so I imagine that if I had Victoria’s opinion on heels my feet would scare children if I went barefoot. Yikes!
What does she need to walk for? Just look pretty, she doesn’t need to GO anywhere or DO anything.
Sorry, but I just think those shoes are akin to footbinding, subliminally meant to slow women down, both literally and figuratively. Even the great Pope-rah shills those stilettos most orgiastically, yet friends who went to her show said that between breaks she has an assistant unbuckle the Manolos from her hoofs and put on comfy slippers. “Hippo”crit.
I have those exact shoes.
That’s what this video is about, right?
