An alert and astute mockdocker sent me a photo today of “artist” Mimosa Pale posing with her “artwork” on the streets of Finland.
It’s too inappropriate to post right on the front page, so it’s after the jump.
I checked out Mimosa’s website, and hilariously, she describes herself as a sculptor and performance artist and claims, “I make body related sculptures and performances, and a combination of these. My favourite working areas are streets or spaces outside the art context. My work is mainly site specific and intuitive. My special skills are playing the musical saw and making the porridge.”
Making the porridge. Because of COURSE.

She got that from an episode of “Everybody Loves Raymond” Ray’s mom sculpted a va jay jay too. Does she go inside it to ride the bike?
I’ve seen this picture before. From what I understand, that’s a rickshaw type thing where you can ride in the cooter while being peddled around.
OJS, would that be the Vespa Cooter? Or Yamaha?

After seeing the wheels and OJS mentioning riding in it I guess you could call it a snatchback. Or a gynacycle. She could always leave it on the street for the homeless people to keep warm in overnight. Hell, they could wake up the next morning feeling “born again”

What’s sad is that the first thing I noticed in the picture was her skirt. I was like “ooh, I like that skirt.” Then I saw the sculpture and spewed my coffee all over my monitor.
Did anyone else see how realistic she made it by adding hair? Zooming in to see her hat on my iPhone this jumped out at me.

Most of the time you pay for a ride (that’s nothing new) but she said there are about 5 days a month it’s free, however those days there are strings attached.
Wonder if it’s scented. “Is that FDS wafting through the air?”
