I used to like her. I mean, after Pretty Woman, who didn’t? She was like, the total darling of Hollywood after Pretty Woman. But lately, I’ve grown to really really dislike her. And I don’t even know why, exactly.
Maybe it’s just the Percoset.
Anyway, apparently she’s just scored a $20 million Lancome deal. And because I no longer like her, this annoys me.

I’ve heard that her variety of “pretty women” have lots of room inside. Most of it is above the neck, though.
I like her. She’s not completely overexposed all over the tabloids and she seems to keep to herself. She’s beautiful too.
Sorry but I really like her. She seems normal. That is soooooooooo rare in the public eye anymore.
I am waiting for her nose to meet her big mouth.
I love love love her, actually. Regardless of the stupid crazy amounts of money that people throw at her, she still seems like a regular person to me. I like it.
I’m sure she’s a very nice person, but I can’t stand that big mouth. It looks like a mailbox. Let’s not forget that her husband was married to someone else when she met him and wrecked his home.
I believe I also referenced her in the Ashley-Judd-talks-nonsense thread when I mentioned the annoying “talk slowly and drop your voice to convey serious drama” thing.
I’m going to take the superficial route and say that I liked her better with red hair, parted down the side.
I’ve always found her incredibly annoying and thought she looked the closest to a horse I’ve ever seen a human being come.
I’m with Hatchet on this one. If you break up a marriage, I’m over you completely and forever.
Plus, she’s awfully far to the left and I can’t stand it when celebrities discuss politics.
I feel the same way about Julia Roberts. But I never liked her that much to start with. It’s the big open-mouthed horsey laugh that irritates the hell out of me. I used to like Kate Hudson, but now I can’t stand her!

Julia is a home-wrecking, Pez dispenser. I think she’s one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood.

I hate Julia Roberts simply because she is friend with Dave Matthews and I am totally jealous.
And i NEVER thought she was pretty.
So weird, Mock. I don’t like her any more either and I can’t figure out why! I used to, then one day I saw her on something and though….”You know, I just don’t like you that much any more.” Huh.
I LOVEEEEEEE her!!! I think she is very wise to raise her family outside of Hollywood and in a quiet area in NM without having to worry about the paparazzi stalking her every move and endangering her kids.
And she seems really down to earth and genuine
I’ve always thought she was “high on herself”, as my mother would say. She somehow manages to turn everything into a Julia moment.
pict13, yes, the laugh. I never found it adorable or engaging, but rather like that of an overexcited baboon. She practically hops from one foot to the other, the little tin cup clutched tightly in her hands and that grimace flickering over those giant teeth.
They always included that signature laugh in just about every picture (except her “serious” roles) and is just too manipulative to purposely seek a point in every freaking movie – “where should we put the tomato mouth? here? here? OK cue the organ grinder!”
I have hated her forever and I think she IS NOT pretty. People think she stays out of the spotlight but she is constantly inserting herself into moments such as when Denzel won the Oscar and SHE cried. ReallY?!?!
Tatertot–you are so right…that f’n laugh is in every promo for that new valentines day movie….i used to like her alot, but that laugh just sent me over the edge….
