I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I cannot STAND Ashley Judd. I know I told you about the recent Redbook cover she did, and included a couple of quotes from that, but now there are more emerging, and it turns out that the poor princess is only getting nine hours of sleep a night.
HORRORS.
According to this, Ashley’s having a rough time getting used to her school schedule because she requires a minimum of ten hours of sleep per night. She said, “There was a class I really wanted to take, but it started at 8:40 and I knew I’d be setting myself up to be miserable. I get nine a night, so I’ve been dealing with low-grade chronic exhaustion the whole time I’ve been here.”
LOW GRADE CHRONIC EXHAUSTION, she says. See – this is precisely the kind of crap that makes me hate her. She’ll say something like this, and then turn around in the next breath and talk about her unique gift of empathy for people in third world countries.
HATE.
She’s so exuasted she needs a nice big cup of STFU.
So exhausted………oh brother! Along with that cup of STFU someone should give her a knuckle sandwich!

AJ makes me feel like superwoman based on that one word alone… EXHAUSTED. She has no clue.
OH to get 9 hours of sleep every night. What I wouldn’t DO to get 9 hours of sleep just ONE night a week! You know, I used to LOVE Ashley Judd, I thought she was a gals gal, ya know? But the more I read about her (here, of course) the more I want to just clap her upside the head and yep, tell her to STFU.

shut up ashley judd! I attend a university that isn’t quiet as impressive as Harvard and I’m LUCKY to get 5 hours of sleep on most nights. Hate.

Like Jeannie, I don’t get a lot of slseep. I’m married, work part time in the mornings and I’m a mom of 5; 3 still at home (12, 14, and 17) and 2 mostly out of the house. (22 yr old serving in Iraq, and 20 yr old at college) I am fully aware that my lack of sleep is due to my choices in life, so I’m not running around complaining of being “exhausted”, even if my ideal life would involve being able to go to bed around midnight (wait, I DO go to bed around then most nights!) and not wake up until around 8 or 9am. Alas, I must wake before 6:30am on weekdays. (Those teen years of being a nightowl are something my body’s tendencies never outgrew.) So, I’m with all of you–Ashley Judd needs to drink a big old cup of STFU!!
Besides, I say she’s exhausted because she sleeps TOO MUCH!!! (There, ’nuff said! LOL)
I think Ashley needs about 23hrs sleep a day and then STFU for the other hour.
Are you sure it’s nine HOURS and not nine MEN a night? I mean, she doesn’t say. And nine men a night would definitely equal exhaustion.

Ms. Judd has proudly joined the ranks of the condescending elitists. Glad she got the Harvard education though. She sorely needed it–hailing from Kentucky.
