Random Thoughts About The Grammys, Which I Totally Forgot To Watch

Britney Spears remains perpetually incapable of dressing herself.

I would have been PISSED if I’d been seated behind Lady Gaga and she’d obstructed my view with her pathetic attempts to outdo her own previous stupid outfits.

The more Adam Lambert fusses with his hair, and the more make-up he applies, the more he looks like a vampire.

Anyone watch?  What were the best/worst moments?

Best = Bon Jovi performing for nearly seven minutes.

    Horrible horrible horrible whining
    OffKey
    CAN NOT STAND
She might be a sweet 16 year old girl, and maybe she can play guitar and write songs, but CAN NOT SING!!!!
    There – I said it

I agree with Leroy. Taylor Swift should refrain from singing live.

    Pink’s performance was amazing!!

Oh, forgot to add — Adam Lambert seriously gives me nightmares. When I see his face pop up on a celebrity gossip site, I have to scroll down really fast so I don’t look at it. ::shudders::

Lady Gaga’s performance was great…except for the INSANELY ANNOYING narrator. I wanted to throttle him. He was so “LOOK. AT. ME. NOW.” the whole time, and I was like “Shut up, I’m watching Gaga.” The performance would have been much better without him.

Also, the guy directly behind Lady Gaga’s her own DJ, Space Cowboy, who wouldn’t even be there if not for her. However, I still feel for the people 6 rows back who still couldn’t see.

I’m still boycotting it after Depeche Mode lost their two grammy noms.

I stopped watching the Grammys somewhere between Thriller & Smells like Teen Spirit. However, I have a theory that if you put a blonde wig on Adam Lambert, you would have a likeness of Tammy Faye.

I’m a country music fan but I do not get why people like Taylor Swift? I heard her on one live show once and thought she sucked!

Sorry I like Taylor Swift and her modern folksy sound. Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga look like they were beaten with an ugly stick and for the most part, about 95% of today’s so called talent, has no talent.

Best Grammys I have seen in a while. Taylor Swift/Stevie Nicks, could not keep eyes off Nicks-could not believe how bad Swift sounded-it was embarrassing-she can only sing her stuff.

Pink-off the chain or…rope as it were, she was amazing. Best I ever saw Beyonce especially when she starting channeling Alanis Morissette, Black Eyed Pees, Maxwell and Roberta Flack- really good as were most of the performances. I even liked Little Wayne, Eminem and Drake, even though half of their perfomance was blacked out by the delay button because of the cursing.

The 3D tribute to Michael-well sung but the 3D part was stupid as they did not advertise it. I tried to use my Avatar glasses which I found but they did not work-of course.

Pink was by far the best, and the Zac Brown Band was second with Lady Antebellum coming in close for third…A lot of the performances seemed off key and they all kept messing with their ear pieces…

I’m convinced that Lady Gaga is a guy.

Best Grammys in a long time – they kept it moving, snappy performances with just a few verses/choruses, not too long that you had to go to the kitchen or to the dryer our of sheer boredom if an artist you didn’t care for. Just enough of each.

Jamie Foxx and sister et al were great. I didn’t mind the bleeped-out bits – kept imagining how frantic the censors were behind the scenes trying not to miss anything too risque.
