BEHOLD: the latest video from Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce, and what can only be described as one of the dumbest things I’ve ever spent nine minutes and 32 seconds watching.

Now, that said, I have to admit Lady Gaga’s tunes are catchy. She is far more tolerable, for example, on radio – where you don’t actually have to LOOK at her.

Sorry Zach. That was HORRIFIC. But I thought of you when I made the concession on the catchiness of her tuneage.
Beyonce is gorgeous, even when she makes crap like this that denegrates women of my race. Why must a black woman be chaufffeur of a Pussy Wagon–for a white woman? It isn’t just the color issue here, but the female experience. Pussy wagon. ‘Nuff said.
On a side note, isn’t one of those guards one of the he-women body builders you posted ages ago?
Oh, please, R. Beyonce was not a chauffeur for a white woman – she was bailing Lady Gaga out of prison and picking her up. And all that crap about “the female experience” – come on. The Pussy wagon was a tongue-in-cheek nod to Kill Bill, which is about a woman assassin, like Lady Gaga and Beyonce are in the video.
Reminiscent, I’ve not seen the “Kill Bill” movies, so perhaps I’ve been overly sensitive. I still find Pussy Wagon offensive; it sounds like a Pimp Mobile carrying a load of vaginas.
I thought the video was hilarious. Lady GaGa is way out there but she has a great sense of humor. Beyonce was great also.

Until the past couple weeks I have done nothing but laugh at Lady Gaga’s antics but I found myself not being able to remove ‘Bad Romance’ from my head. So in order to do so I bought it on iTunes because I hoped listening to it all the way through would do the trick. I must say…her voice is freaking gorgeous. I am really torn on how to feel about her. Most recently after watching this video and fear that this is what kids are going to see on MTV these days…and I’m only 30 so I hope I’m too young to say things like “kids today”. Anyway…I may be about to be a Lady Gaga fan…I just may not admit it.
You can just be like me and like her music, but think she’s a total freak of nature.
I don’t dispute that she’s got a great voice. I just wish she’d rely on IT more, instead of being such a wackjob.
I can’t say I care for her music, and I don’t usually like videos much in general — I like music! but three points:
1) the video works well with the music;
2) the video is interesting; less of a waste of seven minutes than a lot of other videos. (Also, it’s not as though we carefully spent our time otherwise, right???)
3) Mockarena, I think your prejudice against Gaga — you already REALLY dislike her, that’s what I mean by “prejudice” — is blinding you to really good work. Nobody else is doing anything remotely close, that I know of.
