How much do you love weekends?
This weekend, in particular, is shaping up to be tons o’ fun. Mr. Mock is at work right now, which kind of blows, but it’s giving me a chance to get the house straightened up, and then at 7 we are taking Junior and Mini over to my parents’ house for the night, so that Mr. Mock and I can go and belatedly celebrate his birthday at St Elmo’s downtown.
St Elmo’s is this totally amazing steak place here in Indy, at which they serve this shrimp cocktail which is SO HOT that it will clear up even the most severe sinus infection. It’s totally fabulous. The only thing wrong with it is that it only has like 5-6 shrimp in it, whereas I would prefer it to have about 20. It’s a foregone conclusion that I will cry when I eat it, because of how tear-inducing it is. You might not think that sounds fun, but it SO IS.
Then Sunday morning, we’re going to get couples reflexology. There’s a new place close to my office that does hour long reflexology/foot massages for $25. Mr. Mock is a little reluctant, frankly, because he’s not a big fan of perfect strangers messing with his feet. But I have a feeling he’ll change his mind afterwords.
And THEN after that we’re heading back to my parents’ for a belated family birthday celebration for Mr. Mock. And there will be delicious mom-cooked food and general merriment with Bunny and Mr. Bunny as well. And then after that, I’m headed to the Karl Rove book signing.
So it’s going to be a MOST excellent weekend indeed. What about you guys? Doing anything fun?

I’m going to Geocache my little heart out. I got my homework done. I just need to make sure my uniform is ready for Monday and I’ll be fine. Treasure…here I come. I already found 13 so far. Gonna hit up more of the Kisachie Forest tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

By the way, I totally get what you mean about the spiciness and clearing your sinuses. I’m one of those weirdos who puts tons of wasabi on sushi. Love that sinus-clearing thing!
