Mini Mock had the spotlight yesterday, but Junior has been getting all sorts of Louie-love, and I snapped a couple pictures yesterday. Louie is getting SO BIG – he’s all muscular and stocky and just a total brute. But in a cute way.
He’s a puppy, so he’s in non-stop biting mode right now, which is challenging because Junior Mock has no way of defending himself against nibble attacks. You have to just always watch what Louie is doing. But when Louie gets sleepy? There’s no place he’d rather be than curled up next to Junior.
You can see Junior’s crazy deformed foot in that photo. It has turned out so much – but docs say since he won’t ever walk, there’s no point in trying to fix it because foot surgery is brutal. So he’s just going to stay deformed. I’m already going to have to put him through another back surgery soon, so I’m content to just leave him with a wonky foot since it doesn’t hurt him.

And when he lays down, he sticks his feet out behind him which totally cracks me up:
He looks like a turkey from the chest down. The other thing he does when he’s tired, instead of just laying down, is that he’ll just topple over. It’s as if it’s far too much effort to lay down, so he just allows himself to fall instead.
THAT is laziness, you guys. And he’s only going to get lazier as he gets bigger.

Crap. Remember the “double rainbow” guy who was so excited? Yeah. Turns out that’s ME with Jr. Mock updates! How AWESOME it is that he has Louie—and that you totally get the boy-dog bond!

Holy WOW Louie has just ballooned! It’s awesome Junior Mock has him in his life though. If anyone on earth deserves happiness it’s him.
