Uggg I could only make it 1:33. Those types of girls drive me up a wall. I was the nerdy girl with her nose either always in a book, staring at a laptop screen or playing videogames.
While I loathe hearing these kinds of comments from others, Im shocked to know how many of those I have actually said myself…out loud…on purpose…

on the deans list every semester, on to grad school
with a 4.0!
when i asked my daughter why she (most adamantly) would not join
a ‘house’, she cited the exact same things here. some of her friends from h.s. did join and became some of the biggest drunks on campus.
yeah, i’ll bet their parents are real proud of them now.
grades went down a bit, but boy, did they have a great time!
in the mean time, my daughter carried her grades through, did 2 internships, and got a great deal at grad school. (they paid HER to teach!) yup, i’m very proud of my girl! and you too, ROP!!
Aww, thanks el pato! While I did indeed maintain the chancellor’s list and a 4.0 grade point average during college, I didn’t go to grad school or become a teacher. Otherwise your daughter and I are replicas. Or soul sisters.
