And what better way to get right back into the swing of things than to report on how COMPLETELY RETARDED Alicia Keys sounded in her latest interview with Blender Magazine?
Get this. Alicia has decided that “Gangsta rap was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other” and that whole big fat fight between East Coast and West Coast rappers, which ultimately resulted in Tupac and Notorious BIG being murdered, was a conspiracy “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.”
I’m not making this up. And you know how she’s educating herself on these sociopolitical matters? By reading books written by the Black Panthers. Who I’m sure you know are widely recognized as being incredibly impartial, unbiased and completely free from having any sorts of chips on their shoulders. Oh, and she was interviewed wearing an AK-47 pendant - which I’m sure you know is a widely recognized universal symbol of peace.
Anyway, seriously - how much of an idiot are you if you actually believe that gangsta rap was created by The Government? Have you SEEN the government? Would you ever look at any of our government leaders and think, “You know what they’d be good at? Rap.”
