The Mock Dock

This is probably one of the first years ever where I haven’t really been excited for the Oscars. Normally I am ALL ABOUT IT, but I haven’t seen a movie in forever, and so I’m out of touch with the nominees, and no matter what I do I can’t seem to get myself to really care that they’re on. Oh, I’ll watch them and all, but I likely won’t stay up for the whole show. I just want to see what people wear so I can mock them.

I love SO MUCH that this video makes fun of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. LOVE.

I’ve been looking at all the arrival photos on line, and watching the pre-show festivities on E!, and you guys, everyone looks completely gorgeous so far.  Totally unmockable.  So in the spirit of having something to mock, here’s Ben Affleck.

UPDATE:  My 2nd brush of fame in one night!  Kate Winslet was just being interviewed, and she talked about how she loved playing Wii Tennis.  And Mr. Mock said, “See?  You love Wii Tennis, Kate Winslet loves Wii Tennis – so you have something in common!!”

On second thought – I suppose that’s really not as good of a brush with fame as the Laura Zigman thing.  See what I did there?  I’m going to milk the Laura Zigman thing as much as I can, you guys.  Just brace yourselves.
