This morning, we woke up at an ungodly early hour, because we keep going to bed at like 8.30pm, and found ourselves watching the above commercial for the “Bio Shaker” which appears to be some sort of human mixer. It totally reminds me of a science lab, where you put test tubes on mixers to shake up the contents, only this is for people, and it’s ostensibly to make you thinner. Obviously, I need to have one immediately.
We mixed it up today, you guys. Instead of a big breakfast, and then lounging, and then a late afternoon dinner and then lounging, and then sleep, we added an evening swim to our daily routine. And I know you’re thinking, “However did you manage to find the energy to ADD something to your already busy schedule?” I know. I don’t know either, but WE DID. It was our first time to the pool, actually. We have this enormous jacuzzi tub on our balcony which we’ve been filling with pool-temperature water, and we have tons of room to just lay out there, so we’ve seen very little reason to use the pool. Until tonight, when Mr. Mock decided he wanted to Actually Swim, instead of just soak.
When we went to eat this afternoon, we saw a bunch of tubby American dudes strutting down the alleyway, and one of them had on boardshorts, no shirt, a huge belly, a waistpouch, and CAMOUFLAGE CROCS on. I am not making this up. I would have gotten a photo, except the restaurant owner blocked my perfect view and I missed the shot. But believe me when I say that a more horrendous sight we have not seen on this trip.
You know what we’ve noticed? There are a lot of really fat mexican kids here. Like, REALLY fat. And there are also lots of mangy-looking cats and dogs everywhere. Maybe the kids could start sharing their food with the animals instead of hogging it all. See? Mockarena = Problem Solver.
I can’t believe we only have 2.5 more days here. It has gone so quickly! Tomorrow is our last day to lounge, and then we’re golfcarting on Thursday, and then we head home Friday afternoon. And then I will finally post pics, and we can all get really sick over them together since I will no longer BE here to brag about being here.
