David Blaine. I used to think he was cool when he would just pop up on TV every now and then and levitate in the street at people, because their reactions were hilarious. But now that he’s attempting to do just completely stupid crap all the time, I’ve become annoyed by him. The latest? He’s hanging upside down for 60 straight hours.
Apparently, this is like, REALLY bad for you. He’s not going to eat or sleep the entire time, and he’s hooked up to a catheter to pee, and his doctor says this could cause brain hemorrhaging or stroke or loss of vision or seizures or death. All of which sound pretty bad.
This all made me think about that hilarious spoof that someone did on David Blaine’s street magic a couple of years ago. I LOVE these. If you haven’t seen it, you will love it. And if you’ve seen it, watch it again because it will totally make you giggle.
