The Mock Dock

I can’t help it. I love watching people fall, especially when they’re trying stupid stuff that is, in all likelihood, going to make them fall.

You know, I’ve talked about falling on The Mock Dock before. And I’ve told you how, when I trip and fall, it takes like MINUTES to actually complete the fall, because of all the saving I try to do before hitting the ground. Well, I fell again yesterday. At Target.

I was finished shopping, and I was headed out the door along with like 20 other people, and I just fell. For no reason. I literally tripped on the huge pile of AIR that was near the exit, completely blocking my path. And naturally, I was totally embarrassed, and had I been a cat, I would have immediately started grooming myself, because that is what cats do when they fall. Since I’m not a cat, I picked myself up really quickly, and resumed my hurried pace out of the store.

But you know what? Not a single person (and believe me, there were a LOT), asked me if I was ok. NO ONE cared that I fell. Jerks.

Anyway, later that evening, my ankle felt all funky. And today, as I sit here in bed trying to get over the funk that I caught from Bunny through our cell phones, it STILL feels funky. I think I really twisted it, but my embarassment overshadowed the pain at the time.

So now I’m sick AND my ankle hurts. It’s a banner day at the Mock house today. But I have Youtube, and videos of other people falling to make me feel better. This one in particular made me giggle. Enjoy.
