An alert and astute mockdocker sent me a link to more ridiculously named products from around the world. Pee Cola, which we talked about yesterday, is featured there, as is THIS product from Ghana…Shitto.
Apparently, this product is “a gravy made from dried pepper, smoked dried fish, dried shrimp power, a variety of spices, ginger, onion, garlic, tomatoes and seasoning.” But you know what? The official language of Ghana is ENGLISH. So whoever named this product either had a really bad command of the English language, or they knew EXACTLY what they were talking about.
Side note: You know what country English ISN’T the official language of? THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Yeah. That makes all sorts of sense.
