So, you guys know from previous posts that Ashley Judd has been running around the country forcing her political opinions on every person she encounters, and holding discussion forums on why everyone should vote for Obama, and making commercials about how Sarah Palin is mean to polar bears, etc. She’s out of control.
So you can imagine my delight to read this evening that Naomi Judd, Ashley’s mother, just introduced Sarah Palin at a Missouri rally. She claimed she couldn’t stand by and listen to the “unrepentant liberal biased media” anymore, and that even though it means she probably won’t be invited to any more Hollywood parties, she was still throwing her support behind Palin. I love this.
Don’t get me wrong - I think all three of the Judd women are batcrap crazy. My point in telling you this isn’t to get political, but to simply tell you to cross your fingers along with me that this will result in a huge public family feud that we can all point our fingers at and mock. Bring it on, crazy Judd women! I want to see claws out, hair-pulling mother/daughter fighting, and I want to see Wynonna in the background cheering them both on with a giant tub of ice cream on her lap.

Today’s lesson: How to insult millions of women simultaneously and in the next breath, cover your ass about it in case you change your mind.
Instructor: Ashley Judd
When citing the number of starving children in third world countries, Ashley had this to say: “I find it unconscionable to breed. I know it’s a very strong opinion with which a lot of people won’t agree, and that’s not to say someday I might not feel a different impulse, but I’ve felt that way since college.”
Thanks Ashley - for essentially calling all women who’ve chosen to have children of their own unprincipled simpletons. And way to show conviction by making a huge blanket statement and then reserving the right to flip flop. You should be spayed at once.
HATE.

You know what I hate about Ashley Judd today? The fact that she calls her sister…..”Sister”. In other words, she doesn’t ever use Wynonna’s name. Not when she talks ABOUT her, and not when she talks TO her. When asked some time ago about the whole family’s appearance on the Oprah show, Ashley had this to say:
“Oprah really reached out to Sister not only to help her shed the weight, but also to excavate the deep and profound reasons she has always carried the weight. Sister told me, ‘I can’t do this second episode without you.’ I said, ‘Of course,’ but I told her it was really against my instincts and nature to be so public in that way….Mom and Sister have such energy pouring off them about each other. I, on the other hand, hold my space very well, and I keep my own counsel. And that, without a doubt, is what has preserved me.”
Who talks like that?? I mean, I get saying, “MY sister”. But she doesn’t use the pronoun. She just CALLS her “Sister”. With a capital S. HATE.
I wasn’t aware that “keeping your own counsel” required the help of a team of experts in an inpatient treatment facility, but perhaps that’s just assumed when you’re a celebrity.

Part of the “I Hate Ashley Judd” series will include the mockery of randomly selected quotes of hers. Quotes that for various reasons irk me to no end. Today’s quote is from an interview Ashley did about her 40+ day stay in an outpatient rehab center to treat her co-dependency and perfectionism issues.
She says, “When (the counselors) approached me about treatment, they said, `No one ever does an intervention on people like you. You look too good; you’re too smart and together. But you (and Wynonna) come from the same family so you come from the same wound.’ No one had ever validated my pain before. It was so profound.”
You know what’s really profound? My hatred for her. She comes from the “same wound” as Wynonna??? Wy was in treatment to help her figure out why she eats so much pizza. This doesn’t classify as a family that’s wounded.
HATE.
